CASE COMPETITIONS
APICS GLOBAL CHALLENGE
APICS is proud of a rich tradition of student team case competitions. The program began as a grassroots event, with many APICS chapters, colleges and universities taking part. Over the years, the APICS Case Competition has evolved into a flagship event touching students at universities across North America, as well as in Africa, Asia, Europe and South America. Since 2017, the annual APICS Case Competition has been provided in collaboration with Deloitte Consulting LLP.
SCMA NATIONAL CASE COMPETITION
Students will focus on resolving real world strategic and tactical challenges through the examination of a new product development initiative centered around topics such as logistics, network design, procurement, relationship management, and sustainability.
The competition brings together students from across the country where teams of four undergraduate students compete in a business case with presentations to judges’ panels consisting of business professionals, academics and corporate sponsors.
This event matches some of the best and brightest supply chain students from around the country where they compete against each other and showcase their talents to some of the industry's top firms.
While not everyone can claim the title of winner, the presentation skills, networking and ability to add this event to their resume, will contribute to their future success as they embark on their careers in the years to come.
